Author's Note: The following poem does not represent my personal religious beliefs, nor am I preaching about flying bunnies.
God is the biggest noun there is!
God is Icarus Quasar, sing the 72 fluffy-tailed virgins
in 2D!
Rabbits multiplying, flowing flurries,
albino, angora, holland lop,
slippers and shoes, green feet and padless toes,
twitching nibbling chewing chewing.
Then--Oh God!--the farmers come!
raking down God from the sky like a jellyfish.
God is angry, God is a toaster,
God will slice them like whole wheat,
God will butter them like sourdough, God
will jam them like rye, and God will toast them, toast them!
For jelly-red blood has spattered the fields,
clinging like beads to the lettuce lips,
perfuming the air with salty cells,
saturating compost in ruby tides.
God is angry, God is a fingernail.
God will scratch them off like dandruff, God will
dig them from his skin,
God will burrow into furrows
farmers flee like swollen tics, tics with crimson pitchforks.
Rabbits gutted on the ground, flies
parade in jellied eyes,
patchwork of flea-bitten fur not glossy,
flayed and frayed and gored and grayed.
Antennae ear pick up no signal from God!
Icarus Quasar is God!
Icarus Quasar flew too close to the sun
and melted like a jellyfish in a toaster
scraped with a spatula from heaven's cutting board.
God died onion stars.
God pared comet plums and peaches.
God is flat like pancake.
God is 2D like the chalkboard, and hark
the herald rabbits chew, "Well never have a God like you!"

Yes, it's demented. Don't ask my brain where it came from.

Okay, let me explain why I will never (and have never) do drugs:
1. Drugs are bad (duh.)
2. I'm already a freak, and unless I took sedatives, I would either have a heart attack or make everyone around me have heart attacks. I would also find myself in a straightjacket in a mental institution.
However, thank you for your concern.
I enjoyed reading this very much. I particularly enjoyed reading the line "God is angry, God is a fingernail". It's all very surreal, contemplative, and it flows together very nicely. I also like how abstract it is. Hope to see some more of your work in the near future! ^_^
Aaah, I adored this. There's nothing I love like weirdness. (Okay, almost nothing.) You deserve a star from this. Though I don't know how much this is of a poem, but never mind.
My favourite piece. The third line, however, might be just a little too long. Other than that, this is pure love.
I liked this because of the repetition. Funny?
You're amazing.
This was amazing. I want more!
All the best,
Demeter
(and don't you dare stop writing!)
*Backs away* Yeh wow, that's mad, I didn't fully get, but wow. It was like a black comedy since it some grusome death in it. and it's very odd. But the oddness is so unique I can scarecly say anything constructive as this poem seems random but still works in keeping us interested in a demented way.
Overall: This poem is the oddest I've ever seen, were you smoking or drinking anything when you wrote this. Drugs cause surreal effects, but I'd not know. Just, for sheere madness in this poem. This earns a star.
Good luck

...
I think you misspelled MISSPELLED!!!
Anyway...
I really liked this.
It's true.
Very abstract, surreal, insane.
I have NEVER seen anybody combine bunnies, toasters, and jellyfish in reference as good as you did. I admire this. I admire this poem. I adored it.
I can't even nit-pick, I was laughing so hard.
It changed my life forever... What a way to change your life!

This is really cool
I loved it, especially:

"For jelly-red blood has spattered the fields,
clinging like beads to the lettuce lips,
perfuming the air with salty cells,
saturating compost in ruby tides."
and
"Icarus Quasar flew too close to the sun
and melted like a jellyfish in a toaster
scraped with a spatula from heaven's cutting board."
Your imagery is extremely original and the "jellyfish in a toaster"- thing just completely cracked me up.
Really well done, you deserve a star for this
I think you miss spelled Well. I believe you meant to say We'll. That would make more since.
The poem was a little confusing, but neverless a kind of liked it. The Lord is good and will banish all evil. Anyway, good job and good luck!
